Pensacola is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pensacola follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Nice people. Zoo part is a small dark room with no interacting with the animals. The femur looked lonely being by itself in the enclosure. Very strong ammonia odor in the zoo room. Some of the animals in the store side could be held. Granddaughter who is 6 enjoyed it.

I want to start this off by saying this is my experience and opinion. I’m entitled to it and it’s not up for argument. I have two skunks I bought from this store. I will say that both were happy and healthy. Although I personally don’t feed them what the store does, they weren’t harmed in any way with their diet. I just prefer to feed them something different. I did not come to the store for the first pet because I had him delivered to me. The second one I got I actually came to the store for. The store is an older place but it was very clean, the animals were clean and having many animals myself, I had no concern with the care of them. Animals poop A LOT! And the fact that the pets areas were clean and tidy was impressive. The only thing I would slightly feel was negative (and it’s not a huge problem) was I had to wait for a while for service. But in all fairness, they were busy, it had just opened, they were dealing with a lot of customers walking in and out. I can under understand why they charge a fee to get in but before people get upset about a five dollar fee it goes towards what you purchase in the store or towards the care of the animals so I think that is not a big issue.

I was scared to leave this review due to their replies. I have just moved here and have many animals including β€œexotics” myself. I thought I would support a local pet store instead of the chain pet stores. However upon my arrival I noticed hermit crabs without proper water dishes and were being fed mysterious pellets when they should be eating fish, shrimp, and getting mineral supplements which clearly were not in the tank. I saw bearded dragons sharing an enclosure and I am hoping they were opposite sexes since they are not social animals and will fight even if they are a breeding couple especially if they’re in an enclosure this small. I also saw a lizard that was very skinny and had water so old it was growing film. There were also large groups of Prairie dogs and skunks being kept in small glass enclosures that Petco would only store maybe 3 rabbits max in. I also saw two large tortoises sharing a horse trough as an enclosure and they were head butting each other. I wanted to calmly tell the people at the desk that Hermit crabs should not be eating pellets but I was then told they do feed them different food including CAT FOOD. Very disappointing as they have great feeder bugs

This is an awesome exotics pet store they offer to help with classes to get your permits to own your personal exotic baby. Loved the furry Ambassador Mr Nibbles roaming around! Lots of cool critters to see. As a huge animal lover with a bad back I was so thankful I found this place! I recommend joining The Wild Side I took several great photos but I am only adding a couple from that side because you much experience it for your self!!! The Otter was very entertaining, full of punk & extremely playful! The Sloth was very active as well!

So we were next to this place and my son and his dad visited before. After spending a lot of money down the road to look at overpriced β€œhaunted toy” museum, I LOVED Panhandle Exotics. We had a great time seeing and playing with the animals. Did the wild small zoo in back, and we so lost concept of time I realized looking at my phone it was already past 6! We walked out and I apologized and they were like no problem and they were all so very nice. I loved Mr. Nibbles ❀️ was my fav and Joshua loved the hedgehogs, I was ok watching him handle them, he was great with them, but me….. they have very sharp quills and I was ok window watching lol. For a small fee to see the animals in the back I would do this many times over and worth every penny. I wanted to buy up so many of them my mind was screaming yes but wallet was like girl….. you leaving with memories and for this stop inside was good enough 😌
